Oct 27, 2009 - haha, well my perspective has changed a bit regarding those things...I meant this as a half joke. But yes, I bet it would be intriguing high...paranoid android XDD I suppose it's because a humongous amount of Radiohead's music (even before OK computer....the Bends is a great album in its own right) has so much depth and complexity...I find myself getting a sense of euphoria or simply feel strong emotions from their works alone. THAT is true art right there. I desperately want to see them live...
Kyonkyonpanda Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - allusion to the pied piper.... they have so many literary and conceptual illusions :)
jorisjoris4 Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - Yeah, Radiohead copies beatles in Karma police and then the cycle keeps going... passing on good music.

Oct 31, 2009 - In the end, one of the many ghosts that haunt the corridors of Kid A is The Album itself, it's death throes an unsettling funeral for a format that, like so much else, was out of time. A loss in its inevitable spread, when so much was to gain in listening to its album as a whole. *sadface*

Oct 31, 2009 - nothin' wrong with it

Islingtonians Says:
Nov 10, 2009 - lol, yea I know what the concepts within Kid A are... but I was really referring to the music itself rather than to the conventional "meaning" affixed to the music.... lol I wrote you a long email as my reply wafted into cyberspace without a trace.... What I mean to say is Roll on, good times...and Rock On ALWAYS!!!! Cheers, Is. ;)

Nov 21, 2009 - I mean I've been listening to every Radiohead albums in a very religious way hundreds of time Jeff Buckley's album Joy Divisions Closer but this song ...I really can capture the sadness in it and it still never fails to give me this emotionnal feeling, so sad but so joyful and magic
thefekks Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - i used to completely boycott both kid a and amnesiac in the knowledge that they had taken on a more electronica based sound. i eventually caved in a bought both. i really don't regret doing that at all haha, radiohead are able to make this sort of music interesting even though generally i can't stand it.
BigMeatSpecial Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - what. a. faggot.
kubeface Says:
Nov 22, 2009 - so basically any genre can be good if it's done well? that's what your comment says to me. trust me, if you disregard such a vast, hugely varied genre like electronica (or any genre for that matter), the only person missing out is you. just because you don't know a genre, doesn't mean it's shit. not having a go btw! just find it sad when anyone disregards huge slices of music, usually because they are put off by the crappy mainstream stuff.
thefekks Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - no i get what ur saying, i don't think electronica is shit, it's just i would never listen to it for enjoyment sort of thing. also i agree the mainstream usage of electronic stuff makes me sick.
