Nov 17, 2009 - She has fat, chubby little hands but that has very little to do with anything really. I think that it was largely an accident. All this nonsense about the pyramid design, not planned, accident ! I doubt Da Vinci painted the entire thing but that one of his apprentices did most of the work, differing styles in the painting. Also, it was not who they suggest it is but partly a serving wench he was rodgering at the time and partly self-portrait as it was well known he was a cross-dresser.

Nov 23, 2009 - Why is Mona Lisa smiling Chuck Norris is the answer

endocomar93 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - @cspace1234nz People can gloryfiy what they want... they can make numbers have meanings and pull out all kind of crap... 'tis the power of human imagination...

endocomar93 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - So did Leonardo intend to sow so much confusion in the brains of viewers, not to mention scientists? Absolutely, Martinez Otero contends. "He wrote in one of his notebooks that he was trying to paint dynamic expressions because that's what he saw in the street." maybe not?

endocomar93 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - People are trippin... the only mystery there is is that he painted the lower part of face smiling and the upper part with the eyes gazing so that when we look at the picture we get that confused look but if we focus on eyes shees not smiling and when we focus on mouth she is... whats so difficult to understand there...

cspace1234nz Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - You are so right endocomar93, you have given us the one true answer, we have all of us throughout history been duped into believing this painting is something more than it is. You must be like the boy in the story about The Emperors New Clothes. we were blinded. It's lucky we have you. Just one question, have you actually seen this painting by any chance ? I mean, in the flesh, so to speak, outside of the computer in your parents house ? Or is yours just way less of a theory than others ?

endocomar93 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - @cspace1234nz I didn't see it in reality but whats the difference? It has magic that makes illusions? It's 3D and can only be seen in reality? No, it's a picture. I don't quite understand what are you trying to say with "just way less of a theory"? Another thing I really like da vinci and I think hes a genius but I also think that he would laugh in our faces if we told him what people think now. I value mona lisa picture for the values it has but not for some thing that may or may not be true.

cspace1234nz Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - Hey when I was your age I knew everything about everything, hell, I knew more than my father for sure ! It's been amazing to notice as the years have gone by how much smarter my father has become ! In answer to your question "what's the difference?" in relation to the real thing and a video, you tell me, what is the difference between watching a beautiful woman on TV and being with a real woman in the flesh ? What's the difference between reading about ice cream and actually eating one ?

endocomar93 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - @cspace1234nz What is the difference between watching a beautifull women on tv and in the flesh? great, but mona lisa is not in flesh, it's a 2d picture as much as it is 2d on a computer, it's uncomparable because a women in flesh has 3 dimensions and Mona lisa is 2d witch means it looks same as on the monitor (witch is 2d). What's the difference between reading about ice cream and actually eating one? like you asked me what's the difference between reading of mona lisa and painting mona lisa.

cspace1234nz Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - And your answer to my questions is precisely what I am getting at. All you are able to do is sit there and play intellectual gymnastics but you still haven't seen the actual painting. I have, several times, and I can tell you that whether it's on a screen or a printed copy it does not compare to the real thing. Another example is seeing, say, a sports game on TV and being there for the real deal. I know you know what I am talking about but good art has a magical quality that is hard to define
