Nov 25, 2009 - Running it through a virtual machine can (and probably will) lead to significant performance loss and would require a more expensive Windows license. IMO dual booting would be a better solution though you'd still have the Windows license requirement (albeit a cheaper OEM license would work fine) and the poor price:GPU-performance ratio.

Nov 26, 2009 - LOL both have their uses. PCs are a lot more versatile and open ended (which explains the multitude of viruses) and Macs are more streamlined and casual. They're also a lot more stable but loses out on the versatility and support for certain apps. In a nutshell, macs are a lot more user friendly whereas PCs have better capability but only if you're an advanced user. If you're just checking your e-mail. and visiting websites, then I'd say go with a Mac. Otherwise PC
