Nov 9, 2009 - I suppose it depends on your definition of a solo. There are fantastic instrumental bridges in music after all, that would not necessarily qualify as solos but fill in the gap fine. I guess I think of solos like jazz or metal, which is fine sometimes, but can detract from a good song by taking away from the overall structure.
