Nov 5, 2009 - They're both incredible bands in their own right, I think. :)
hazzam90 Says:
Nov 5, 2009 - definitely arguable that this is one of the best songs ever written as far as radiohead is concerned they're a good band but all of their fans think they're better than everyone else radiohead fans love to brag about how they're radiohead fans some cunt tried to tell me the other day that coldplay is a radiohead coverband i told him he was a halfwit

Nov 6, 2009 - A halfwit indeed! Everybody knows that Coldplay wouldn't be half as awful if they were a Radiohead cover band. =P

Nov 6, 2009 - probably because they were making muic in.... yep the 80s

Nov 6, 2009 - And if a double-decker bus crashes into us to die by your side, such a heavenly way to die. And if a ten ton truck kills the both of us to die by your side, the pleasure the privilege is mine. 3 Simply beautiful.
SlashRose Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - And that's an excuse to follow trends by the book and sound generic why? There are plenty of 80's bands that don't have the cliche vocals and 80's vibe.
BenjKris Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - to be fair Smiths Morrissey fans are exactly the same! they're both amazing bands who are adored by their fans, more so than a lot of other fans do with their favourite bands. on the Coldplay being a Radiohead coverband, that's a really pathetic, overused comment. High Dry Fake Plastic Trees are the only songs that sound remotely like Radiohead, he obviously is a halfwit.
shawndimery Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Your comment just sounded odd to me, they sound more 80s when they were a 80s band. Comparing them to a band who sound so far ahead of their time.

Nov 7, 2009 - To die by your side Is such a heavenly way to dieee~ 3
HiroOfShadows Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - Dear god, what? Morrissey was a member of the Smiths, and then did his solo thing. Coldplay doesn't sound very much like Radiohead, but what do either of them have to do with this? High Dry and Fake Plastic Trees are Radiohead songs, not Colplay! Nor do they even sound like Colyplay!
wtfwthftw Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - Just gives me this longing urge.. such a great song..
Doxygurl Says:
Nov 7, 2009 - I'll never forget when I first heard this song. I was with some members of my family driving, and I was alone in the back seat, and we were driving at night and it was like during late November and very cold, and were on our way to see a film. I wasn't a part of the conversation, so I was listening very intently to the music my sister was playing, and I was snagged in by the lines "to die by your side, well the pleasure, the privilege is mine." Love at first listen.
