Nov 9, 2009 - Plus it contradicts the themes of the first movie. In the first movie Mulan is especial because she does what no other normal girl would do. She goes from ordinary to extraordinary and it's a powerful change. In the sequel it gets treated like the norm expect for the princesses. Look at the list of things they say, then go back to the first one and look at the gender roles. The song is cute, it just contradicts the first movie. In a different setting would have been better.
