Nov 5, 2009 - Great video. Merle is freakin phenominal. And he does Lefty Frizzell perfectly. I'm a big Marty Robbins fan. He has a one of the greatest voices EVER. Only recently was I made aware that Marty's mother was Mexican and he spoke fluent Spanish. Surprise! I'm so sorry I was never able to meet him. I put him right up there with Orbison and Elvis. Oh.. yeah, and Faron! Faron's singing seemed effortless. He was such a dashing show-off. God love him.

Nov 16, 2009 - I remember seeing this on tv when I was a kid in 1970 or 71. Forgot all about it till now . I remember my parents freaked out that Merle sounded so much like Marty . You could tell they were two good friends just having fun , No ego's . You just don't see this kinda stuff anymore . Especially Merle having a smoke on stage . If that was now days someone would call the cops on him .
