Nov 5, 2009 - Trying to avoid infantile remarks by making fun of you, or insulting your intellect... I'm simply going to say that you obviously don't know shit about the subject, and would that you actually knew anything, you wouldn't have just said what you did :)

wraith2030 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Passive aggression is still aggression. Obviously, eh? As an honours student in psychology, I clearly don't know shit about sex differences in cognitive functioning - despite the fact that I got this information from a Biological Psychology textbook I have sitting here in my lap published in 2007, and the 14 studies it cites, of which the oldest is from 98. And it is this information you seem to be refuting not on any basis of your own but simply through some sort of question-begging ad hominem.

DrBjamin Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Welp Mr. honors student in psychology... you wanted it, so enjoy ya schmuck. John Hopkins - inferior-parietal lobule SIGNIFICANTLY larger in men than women. Archives in Neurology - Broca and Wernicke 23% LARGER in women than men. University of Cincinnati - men have more cerebral cortex neurons , women have more developed neurophil. There's even noted differences in the amygdalas of homosexual men/women. If whatever crap collage you attend has it, you might wanna try EBSCO and OVID

Nov 5, 2009 - me neither, this sucked....

wraith2030 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - See, that's what I wanted. Reasoned debate. That's interesting. Does this difference in size have any observed effect on cognitive/behavioural performance, or is it more to do with differences in pathological development? I suppose that's what I was talking about in terms of sex differences in the brain; I was aware (thought only to some weak extent) that our brains are structured differently, but does this result in any cognitive/behavioural differences that I haven't already mentioned?

Hakkiri Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - in the full DVD version, he makes a disclaimer before going into this session. he is well aware that this is not a black and white explanation of men and women all together. he says that he knows that things could very well be the other way around at times. however, as something presented generally, there is a lot of truth to what he says.

Somos diferentes, punto.

cafebalalaika Says:

msmcis Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - I thought he was funny! This is like a narrative about the book entitled 'Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.' - by John Gray. In the book, the 'nothing box' is described as 'the cave.' This is just a stereo type of men and women, though I have had boyfriends who enjoyed talking to me about everything, and I would do the listening. With other boyfriends, I was more talkative and they were more of the listener. It is not always the same. It totally depends on the dynamic in a relationship.

SaudiMajix Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - I agree

tortugoaguilera Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - sure, and you're an asshole qith no sense of humour

NuevosCaminos Says:
