He personally helped bomb buildings. And just because things got shitty doesn't mean it wasn't a decent and virtuous thing to do then. Armed Revolutions are generally supported by the populous because that's the only way they can often get ANY support. Once again, it becomes obvious how little you know about history and human affairs.
