Jan 21, 2009 - South African went from a few white super elite upperclassmen ruling the whole country to an ethnically diverse democracy with the help of Nelson Mandela and the armed struggle/cultural movement he was a part of. He personally helped bomb buildings. And just because things got shitty doesn't mean it wasn't a decent and virtuous thing to do then. America is a shit hole tyranny by now, but the revolution was a pretty darn good idea.
Claybird121 Says:
Jan 21, 2009 - Just because things are shitty now doesn't mean that popular movements in the past weren't a good and decent thing to do. Is it Washington and Jefferson's fault that America is a shit hole? No, it isn't, it's all the people that came after they were even alive and changed a bunch o' stuff. Armed Revolutions are generally supported by the populous because that's the only way they can often get ANY support. Once again, it becomes obvious how little you know about history and human affairs.
Claybird121 Says:
Jan 21, 2009 - And the glorious revolution still had hundreds of armed soldiers from various countries backing the movement along with it being "basically" bloodless. There was still armed support and it most certainly would have come to violence had it not gone so 'smoothly'.

Claybird121 Says:
Jan 28, 2009 - Well thats fine man, but it's still become obvious you really don't know what your talking about. You're free to believe anything you wish of course. But there's still going to be people around to refute nonsense.

Jul 27, 2009 - europeans ,came to america with great ideas,RELIGION,THE PROPERTY OF LAND AND THE EXCHANGE OF PRODUCTS BY MONEY ,please go back to europe you guys fuck this continent.
Blucius13 Says:
Aug 10, 2009 - THE EXCHANGE OF PRODUCT BY MONEY has only facilitated trade thus bettering the standard of living for all. You suggest we revert to barter? So you suggest we revert back to needing a double coincidence of wants in order to exchange something to trade resources!!!!!! Wow. You have a valid point with the other two but cmon. As for Religion I c`an under stand being an anti-theist but every peoples at that point were religious not just europeans.
diegote7 Says:
Aug 10, 2009 - the whole point of my opinion comes from the fact ,that a beautiful race like the mayans ,mexicas ,toltecas and also incas are lost,we were all surrended by religion ,money and property land ,it must be hard to understand because you probably live in the states, regardless whereever you live, you can never feel the angry and the frustration when you see and witness poverty and must of all the politicians who by the way ,dont care about our own people.

Jan 21, 2009 - Gandhi was a small part of the Indian revolution, there were hundreds of armed rebellions and a constant armed resistance. Gandhi was just one part and could have done nothing without the armed rebellions. Britain left because they were broke economically and militarily from the world wars and could afford to beat back the constant barrage of attacks from armed resistance groups along with Gandhi's cultural movement. South Africa got rid of APARTHEID AND OLIGARCHY.
