Nov 14, 2009 - I was born back in 70 but D*MN...I sure miss those times. Late 60's 70's had the BEST music ever! Kinda depressing, but at least we have the memories of the best era ever in music! About the only more modern band I like now is U2 that's it. MY first car was a 1980 DATSUN B-210....$8 gas filled her up went a long way!

Even younger generations have been stating so for years now. How do I know this, because I've been working in the music industry for years this is always the outcome at events, surveys interviews. Sure there are people who admire today's artists, but the fact remains that the majority of both young old prefer the classics.

Nov 17, 2009 - there is good music made today, its just ALOT harder to find. look at music industry sales, they have plummeted over the last decade alone. compare that to the 70s when more records were sold than any other decade and its obvious. people love the classics because its what they know. the beatles remasters took 5 spots of the top 10 in england only 2 months ago.
