Oct 29, 2009 - thats true.. in fact, professional software like Nuke only comes in 64 bit as windows and linux. the mac version is still 32bit courtesy of apple's default 32 bit snow leopard kernal. Same with photoshop. However, maintaining a linux box is quite the effort. Hopefully one 10.6 matures, you will see more 64bit mac aps.
