AmosTheTalented Says:

Oct 4, 2009 - A good question here is why do hippos kill? The answer is usually to protect their young or their territory. They usuall need a good reason.

Oct 20, 2009 - fuck jessica, she stepped on the dog ¬¬

Anotic2 Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - you must be stupid to think hippo is your daughter..lol animal is always an animal..how much are they spending on for food for jessica?

squirreLa1 Says:

Oct 22, 2009 - She isn't stupid for thinking of Jessica as her daughter, because animals give to us more than most humans are capable of. My dogs are smarter than lots of people I know, and I value animals more than people, because they are genuine and sincere, which you can say about very few people.

fanofprotopic Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - Ive actually gotten the chance to meet Jessica. I went to South Africa over the summer. Shes amazing!! To whoever said she might eat a dog, she wont shes never done anything bad to them. Also someone said she might not be able to make it out in the wild, she lives in the wild. They dont force her to stay with them, she goes and eats with the wild hippos and chooses to come back. And after being around it its VERY easy to see how Shirley can see her as a daughter. She has a very distinct personality

kiekie1965 Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - I never realized just how adorable a hippo could be. It never ceases to amazes me the wonders of the bonds humans can have with wild animals. I love this story!!!!

Nov 10, 2009 - She didn't do it on purpose, did it ever cross your mind??

jimmykong57 Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - This is the cutest heart-warming video I've ever seen. God Bless the family who adopted Jessica. It is so sweet seeing the dogs and Jessica sleeping together. I hope she lives a happy long life. I do suggest to the family that she wears a bright marker or tag or jacket or whatever that she "belongs" to this family so that other humans will not mistaken her for a wild hippo to protect her.

jimmykong57 Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - You're are so freaking ignorant. You're a waste of a human life. What is it to you how much they spend? Its their business not yours.

Anotic2 Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - @jimmykong57 lol what business is to know that they adopted a hippo in to their society..."waste of human life" lol go suck a dick.
