Nov 14, 2009 - but you cant know alot about nirvana or kurt cobain, because kurt cobain thought the term "grunge" was a joke and he hated being associated with bands like pearl jam. nirvana were only called grunge cos they were from seattle, if they were from another city they would of been put in the same alternative group with Sonic youth, Dinosaur jr, Husker Du, Pixies. BUT cos they were from seattle they got called "grunge". But everyone to their own opinion. Im purely stating fact...not fiction.
