Oct 12, 2009 - Valkyries are amusing because of how high up they are on the tech tree. Guardians are as well, but hydralisks make short work of valkyries. Concentrated fire ruins them it seems.

Oct 12, 2009 - I agree, but technicly, if you'd max out zerg and terran with all upgrades and units 200/200, terran would win due to more powerful units. Although zerg have a good chance in the early game before the siege tanks. An alternate solution to the combat situation i staged would be a defiler cloud, although you'd still get splash damage from the tanks. Oh well.

Oct 12, 2009 - A lot of it also has to do with micromanagement. Calling it a numbers game is sort of ignorant, and I was guilty of that when I first played the game. The zerg are literally capable of guerrilla warfare to the point where they're basically the ultimate skirmishers. The terrans excel at it too, actually. With their medics and marines combo. Valkyries, as you've mentioned, are extremely adept at controlling the skies. However, the tech tree comes into play, interestingly.

Oct 22, 2009 - only in numbers tho if u dident notice everytime the protoss in the end got out# tht y they lost if it was 25 zerg minions vs 20 of the protos main soldier than protos wud own em but its not its 15 minions 8 underground and 8 spike shootin whores vs 6 cannons 12 protos soldier guys and a few others way out# plus ones underground cant get hit so it kinda a mass win lol protos way better than ne zerg if its in the rite fight scinerio lol
