Nov 3, 2009 - relworp69, wat came first into existance acording to evolution the chicken or the egg???lol !!! have a cup of tea and think about it.

ILoveAliceCullen13 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - How did I twist the words? I never misquoted the Bible or said anything that the Bible did not say itself. No, that was not why God made animals. God did not make any mistakes in his creation. God thought that man needed a helper. God brought the animals he HAD (he had made them BEFORE man) to Adam for Adam to name. Adam named them, and then once that was settled, God made Eve.

LucidDream23 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - I get my facts from an old holy book, and you get yours from something that is pretending to be proven. Poor thing.

trOOKE666 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - Willy no, i am just reminding you that you are are still bound by the chains of your dogma. and also, I hate it when people spread misinformation. honestly is the best policy man. Fuck your God (to the reader: this is a sign of respect because saying "god bless" to an nonchristian seems to be "respectful" to them.)

trOOKE666 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - alicecullen let's take it one by one shall we? "It is not good that the MAN SHOULD BE ALONE; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God FORMED EVERY BEAST....fowl..." there were NO ANIMALS BEFORE adam that's why god FORMED ANIMALS OUT OF THE GROUND. why would he be ALONE if there were animals before him? and why would he form animals from the ground if there were already animals? think, cullen, think.

Larev90 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - Hey Science guy if there is no God how do you explain the fact that all the forces of physics such as attraction repulsion of charged particles as well as forces like gravity, centrifugal force centripetal force etc. all had to come into existence at exactly the same instant and in exactly the precise amounts or else everything in the universe would be destroyed. The odds of all this happening with such precision and all instantaneously, stretches the imagination far more...than God Is!

trOOKE666 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - those forces has always been there. they were not 'created'.

Larev90 Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - So where is your scientific proof that these forces always existed if there was no matter you couldnt have these forces!

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Where does this lead to god?... and even if it somehow suggests that a supernatural entity created the universe... Where does that lead to jesus?

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - You all try so hard. I think it's cute!

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - The egg.

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - In making Eve, why did god need one of Adam's ribs? You would think an all powerful being could've just wished her into existence.

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - They belong in the realm of philosophy. Charles Darwin created the concept of natural selection which still holds true today. His tree of life differs little from other models since. Did you think that just because he had stumbled upon one of the greatest revelations in biological history, he was supposed to have all the answers? Tell me vermentinu, do you believe in absolute truth?

vermentinu Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - relworp69 Tell me vermentinu, do you believe in absolute truth?" You need to be more specific. Do you mean truth in relation to ethical considerations or in other areas? Can you define as to what you believe constitutes truth?

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - You use the term 'absolute truth' in a comment to me but now you're fuzzy on it's definition? Let me make this simpler for you. I will admit that science can never have ALL of the answers, and while it takes a bit of faith to follow a theory and believe it as truth just because of a multitude of evidence, it's often what I accept as reality. Now, do you think that there is even a slight chance that you are wrong about god?

vermentinu Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - relworp69, I wasn't being deliberately abstruse. Truth encompasses logic and mathematics, which come under formal theories; and I now know that this is not the area you are asking me to comment on. The simple answer to your question is 'no' Asking questions is part of what makes us human, including asking the question: Does God exist? The indwelling of the Holy Spirit answers that question for me, and that is my world view. God cannot be (dis)proven empirically.

davlupi Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - relworp-- "Where does that lead to Jesus?"-- before we get there, can you admit that the amazing conditions for the universe to have existed and next for life to have existed GREATLY suggests a Creator of some kind. Especially, when you consider the observable energy in this universe, where did it all come from? Do you really believe its more likely that all this order, energy, and life came from non-intelligent means? How did LIFE come into existence and be able to replicate at the very start?

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - davlupi, no, the amazing conditions you speak of do not suggest a creator, but quite the opposite. it's hard for most minds to comprehend life from non-life and existence without explanation, much like it's hard to understand spacetime, when to us, time is constant. That's our understanding of it... we're only human, and still so very primitive. Even if there was somehow evidence that an intelligent being that trancends space and time just wished it into existence, where does that lead to jesus?

davlupi Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - rel- so what you are saying is that fine-tuning argument should compel people to not believe in any Divine Creator? That all of these parameters uniquely suited to support life leads one to the conclusion that there is no God.. You don't buy that! In fact if you truly believe in no God, then you have to rationalize that aspect away. So if we agree that the universe hints at a Creator, then we can discuss Christ as Lord.. otherwise we've got the cart before the horse.

JesusonIyYou Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - An experiment was recently conducted with the worlds fastest supercomputer, the IBM Roadrunner, at Los Alamos National Lab. The Bible in its original Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek text was inputted to a special program that had taken 9 years to develop. After analyzing the Bible, the computer concluded the Bible could not be the words of any supreme being or God. The probability of error was 0%. Thus, at last, the non-existence of a Christian God has been scientifically proven, beyond a doubt.

relworp69 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - No I'm not saying that, and no I don't agree that the universe hints at a creator. I already made that clear in my last comment. Are you saying that you can't answer my repeated question unless I admit that a higher power created the universe?

fIetzy44 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - LA TIMES: The Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico just announced that their IBM supercomputer analyzed the Bible in its original languages, concluded it could not have been written by a supreme entity or Christian God. The probability of error was 0%, therefore they're announcing this as unequivocal scientific proof there is no Christian God. The Federal Government is reacting by canceling the tax-exempt status for Christian Churches.

dianekim1 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - EVERYONE STOP ARGUING.

davlupi Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - rel, so then what are you saying about the Fine Tuning Argument? What should we conclude based on it? Is the entropy of the fine tuning argument equal to zero and thus it hints at neither possibility? Jesus came into this world to show us the way to God and to be the way to God. His death was a way for us to be able to surrender our sins unto Him... Sins are their own punishment. They consume us from within and we need Jesus to help us shed those self-imposed chains.

hyunling Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - rel, what if your wrong??? what if???.. there is GOD... what would you do??? why don't you study the bible then that's the time you could really argue there is no God..coz i once doubted if Jesus is real but the word of God is real...Jesus is so real to me now...once you accept Jesus i tell you it's really adifferent feeling...His so alive in you...
