Nov 9, 2009 - To be honest I don't know. It all depends on what network card you've got. I do know that some wireless cards can't be put into monitor mode, Intel as mentioned in the video. Also as the video suggests, this sort of low-level hacking is best done with Linux rather than Windows. The drivers are more open to things like monitor rmode It's extremely unlikely the open-source Aircrack contains any malware if you downloaded it from the original site, which also has the source code for Aircrack.
