Feb 9, 2008 - Thanks for the comment. The speed of the server has absolutely nothing to do with the software, and as any UseNet user can see, it is in fact Alt.Binz. Retention with PowerUsenet is 105 days. Not the best (giganews does 200) but still up there.

Aug 21, 2008 - Power Usenet is not bad at all. APN was also cheap and allowed posting, but that also got me kicked by Yngwie Malmsteen lol. Bastard. It was just a fan vid too lol. Anyway, Power Usenet is fast and better completion than APN. Always good to just get the pars anyway. $15 and I think now you get 120 days or more so that's really good. I liked APN though because I could recommend groups and they would open them, sometimes PU couldn't access newer large groups.
