Oct 29, 2009 - At no point did this target men. It was pointing at the media who puts so much pressure on girls to be prettier, thinner, and more beautiful. I think it is pretty safe to say that, while guys do still have pressure on them, girls have more. There are not campaigns for men (Or I have not seen any, at least) because men do not get as much pressure from the media (They still get some, but not as much).

If a man sees beautiful, flawless women on TV, he will expect women to be beautiful and flawless. If a woman sees flawless women on TV, she could think she is not beautiful enough or that something is wrong with her, which is just not true. Vice versa. If a woman sees buffed up men on TV, they will expect it, and a man could think he is not strong or handsome enough.
