Oct 27, 2009 - So true. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of faux-hawks though.

Oct 27, 2009 - So unfair!!! but soooooooo truth! Its the Story of my Life
freesedogg Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - the client part is the most accurate. i've spent too many hours changing spots that the clients originally said they "loved." watching the AE switch sides was all too true, sadly.

Oct 27, 2009 - Join the frickin' club. "I love it but..."
jpdegamboa Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - This is true but not new. Somehow it have not changed since I started working as a creative like 10 years ago. The worst part is that if we try to do something about it, we will be replaced for some junior kid willing to work for half our salary! WE ARE HORES!

Oct 28, 2009 - great casting on the douchey Account Exec
YzYrCmnSns Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - In 15 years I made it to ACD to then be cut and replaced by young kids working 70 hr. weeks for small salaries (kind of like I did). Been own my own for five years now, but I realized pretty quickly that no matter how much client crap I put up with dealing directly with the clients it's about 1/4 as much as when there was an account worm in between. This video is funny but true. Clients are idiots and Account Execs are lying worms. Anyway it's spelled Whores. Jeez, you spell like a designer :-)
jpdegamboa Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - Its the same story over and over again. Sad thing to say, but then again: is their money. In Latin America a taxi driver or a maid make as much as a copywriter or a junior Art Director and work less. I think I'm in that moment of my career that I ask my self; what happened with the hundreds of guys I worked with all this years? lets say 1 out of 20 still in the industry.

Oct 28, 2009 - The only thing that doesn't change about the business is the business.

Oct 28, 2009 - HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA and I would like to add (no pun) HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Just like the old days when i had sold my sold to satan to be a 'creative director' and sell crap to twats globally. It was a real Paradigm shift :) Very post modern using browns.

Nov 1, 2009 - i love how this little video is catching on (i first saw it about two weeks ago). Seems to really be resonating with those of us who deal with this crap every day. This is my favorite "work" video since Truth in Advertising. We all need 27 brand tenants.
poet2012 Says:
Nov 2, 2009 - I used to work as a copywriter in a big advertising agency, and i quit because i got sick of sitting in the same room with these two faced ass holes who are willing to sell their soul for a buck. we should make a revolution where creative people earn their respect and stupid corporate fucks get to clean our shoes once in a while, or make our pizzas. Today I am a DJ and an Artist, i play music and paint pictures and my life is beautiful. Make the change - Make your life count !
ralinad Says:
Nov 2, 2009 - Oh, too true.
YahooAdBuzz Says:
Nov 5, 2009 - A reader asks what the creatives "transformation" song was. It's TV on the Radio, "Wolf Like Me."
13GRATIOT Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - The main three letters in the word, "Client" are LIE. They sap you of any creative energy. I always say I'd like to shake hands with the person who sold the concept not the group that came up with the concept. Good Clients make good agencies. Sometimes it's better to tell them to hit the road than to bow down to their weak excuses.
rebeldesigner Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - Its amazing... I loved the "Account executive" guy, Specially at 3:42 when he joins the client side... its sooooooo funny, great one...

Nov 17, 2009 - Illuminati=reptilian kin aka jinn, naga, demons, dragons, vampires, bluebloods, Al Gore, Windsors, Rockefellars, Rothschilds etc who rule secret societies like Freemasonry. Their agenda: force toxic swine flu vaccines on many, cap n trade, internet 2, codex alimentarius, WW3 then a staging of an alien invasion to get a fascist world government with us chipped. Support Dr Deagle, Stewart Swerdlow, Oracle Broadcasting, gardening and free-energy technology!
fvckingtest Says:
Nov 19, 2009 - My favorite part is the scene where the budget gets cut. I've had this happen to me while pulling an all-nighter to finish up a "comp" that has interactivity, SFX, and 80% functionality. That's not a comp, my client friends. How quickly clients can kill a project, and then you get to chase them down for weeks just to get back the upfront percentage you agreed upon. "How much was that again?" "Are you sure?" I actually told someone I wish I could punch them in the face through a phone after this.
cahlitox Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - Shit! It doesn't matter the country... is the same. I'm from Venezuela and we have to deal with this every day.
