Oct 11, 2009 - I agree with "ImpressionSunflower": the way you opened with the smoke blowing around her is very creative. I enjoyed the way you placed the sequences. What software did you use to make this video?

HoracioBuenosAires Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - I agree completely with you, a very original way of opening the video.

technologick1983 Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - This song fits Audrey. Beauty and class and our society has lost that now in so many ways.

LENAH1018 Says:

Oct 11, 2009 - Audrey foi uma atriz que marcou sua época e permanece inesquecível. Adorei o vídeo com imagens de Audrey, e ao som de At Last com Etta James dona de uma belíssima voz. Aprecio muito esta grande cantora.

prouck Says:

Oct 17, 2009 - i do wish people like Aguilera and jennifer hudson paid more attention to singers like her, so they can learn how to sing properly. it's so tragic that people with such great voices don't actually know how to use them. At least we have Etta.

Shetiu Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Well, it's much known that Etta James is Christina's biggest influence. And all of those that you actually mentioned can sing more than properly. They just have their own styles.

prouck Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - i know she is a big influence, which is why she should pay more attention. and no, they do not know how to sing properly, their use of melisma and vibrato is not "style" it's musical murder. The day is past and gone by Marion Williams or Superstition from Stevie Wonder are perfect examples of how to use melisma to make a song incredibly powerful. Or you can hear Etta's vibrato in this song and it's absolutely perfect.

prouck Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I still love their voices though, don't think i don't. Just not the way they use them.

Shetiu Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I understand what you say, but "perfection" is a subjective thing in terms of art. I mean, perhaps they just take something and transform it and make it their own. Someone could say that andy warhol's paintings were fine art murder. Something that is done in a different way doesn't necessarily need to be bad. It's just different.

Shetiu Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - Also, there are some things that could be seen as "unperfect" in Etta's singing. If you take notice (just as an example) at 2:30 she doesn't mantain, she makes a change that is not perfeclty fluid, she goes down but too abruptly in my opinion. But the good thing is the deep emotion that she puts in her singing. Even if some things aren't "perfect" (note the brackets) she's still a big artist.

black777666lol Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - you need to relax this song is what 60 70 years old just enjoy the classic song or stop taking the time to go to yotube type in her version of th song and post crap? why waste the time!?!?!?

fredastairefan Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - things don't have to be perfect to be wonderful... nothing in this world is perfect :)

Shetiu Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - That is exactly what I mean, that things don't always need to be technically perfect to be wonderful. I was responding to Prouck who said that singers like Aguilera aren't making a perfect use of vibrato etc, and should learn from Etta who does it all perfect. I'm saying that Etta's singing isn't totally perfect either. But they all sing with soul and that's what matter. So the person that did put a negative point in my comment just didn't get my point.
