May 11, 2009 - Actually Orwell, you're wrong, and fat hippy is right. Taping a pickup to your guitar would cause the sound to fluctuate bro. His guitar is acoustic/electric, and they often have feedback buzz when you play the low strings. Usually you'll see artists use rubber plugs, but that causes the sound to be muffled due to pickups being placed in the sound hole, so tape is the easiest solution and doesn't sacrifice the sound too much.
