Nov 11, 2009 - GEEZ DUDE! What a badass! You're a fucking rebel! LMAO! Btw, small dick.

gregorysams1 Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - Countless ancient cultures saw the Sun as a living being, a natural understanding that Christianity burned out of our culture. Many dates and legends were hijacked, but the interesting question is: Were the ancients right - is the Sun a living being? In my book, Sun of gOd, the enlightening implications of the 'yes' answer are explored. See Amazon for more.

101penfold Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Yes, CelticEdge, because obviously, if a variety of different spiritualists from a variety of differebt cultures all saw something as true, it must be false. Just like if all scientists from all over the world saw something to be true, it must be false as well. Have you ever thought that maybe the ancients could see something that we couldn't, something that transendes perceived reality, something just as constant as matter?

101penfold Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Nazionalistul, the cross is a very ancient symbol. However, I agree with you. This documentary over exagerates claims from comparitive mythology to make a point. There are so many similarities in mythology, and this film may introduce people to those concepts, but this film tosses accuracy and explanation aside to try to make converts. I consider this about as legitimate as a academic film created by a group with a religious agenda.

ReligionOfSacrifice Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Why are they calling the sun a lamb of light? Because Egypt got their God from a ReligionOfSacrifice. Why is the idol goddess of fertility worshipped? Because God said, "Be fruitful and multiply." You're right DoctorBudd, Praise Jesus! The Bible is 100% accurate. Now read about my stories that tell how man has always wanted to erase the truth because man was made upright, but he has made many devices.

DoctorBudd Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Too long; didn't read! LOL!

markespo1 Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - I don't care what your beliefs are, how can you not call them into question after seeing direct proof of where these stories originated from?

DoctorBudd Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - Horus is my homeboy. WWHD? LOL!

marshamiere Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - was muhammed placed next to god when he died , jesus who was just a man was seated right nest to God , for what ? why was he so special if he was just like anty other prophet , and how can he say he's coming back , again , if was not able to raise from the dead on the third day

marshamiere Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - There were many claims of Gods , but those Gods are dead buried and gone like the sculpters and the ppl who formed them to suit there own desires, There is only one true God , and you can only now that if you try him for yourself i promise he wont fail

CelticEdge99 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - No that rediculous. They could "see" something we couldnt? That makes no sense what so ever. This is a old tale that has gotten way out of hand. I feel so sorry for the christians that have advanced beyond the average christian. The one that say they see demons in people and demons are after them. Its ridculous.

101penfold Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I worded this wrong. It's not that the ancient mystics and spiritualists saw something that we couldn't. It's just, they see things that many don't, just like scientists see things that many don't, because not everybody takes the time to look through a microscope. And I'm not talking about SEEING in the literal sense.

101penfold Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I am a Christian, but I agree, every Christian should study these things so that they can adapt their worldview into one that accepts and acknowledges things we know. The similarities between Christ and other gods is obvious. This documentary may overexagerate them, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

nnaruto10 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - there's no way they were crucified because the roman empire invented the croos as a way to kill and torture people.

nnaruto10 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - cross*

ashutoshmikku Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - The documentary is not well researched. Krishna was not born of virgin birth nor was he crucified.

systemofadann1 Says:

Nov 18, 2009 - I have to agree with markespo1 on this one.

mrun0riginal Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - I would just like to say that may not be true. I cannot be 100% sure, but i do recall a japanese image of a man being crucified, from the feudal Japan era, albeit not on a christian shaped Cross, and, as far as i know, this was before any western involvement.

ReligionOfSacrifice Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Many religions borrow from Christianity, but when you go to find the proof of much written on these links prior to Christianity or should I say the Old Testament it falls flat. For instance, in 520 B.C. Zechariah 12:10 was written saying that the Messiah would be pierced and come to the Jews saying they were the ones that did it. Thus the Old Testament predates Jesus saying that Jesus would be pierced.

ashutoshmikku Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - But Hinduism does not borrow from Christianity. It is older than Christianity. Nobody in India believes that Krishna had a virgin birth or he was crucified. They are not part of Krishna mythology at all.

ABAisSCIENCE Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Exactly, atheism brought a virgin birth into Hinduism and crucified him less than one hundred years ago in an attempt to be stupid. The atheist also speaks the words of Muslims saying that the Bible allows the rape of three year old girls, but you can't find it in the Bible and only atheists and Muslims speak such idiotic words. The next era will certainly be a fun one!

ashutoshmikku Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I don't think all atheists can be blamed for that. In fact, I myself do not believe in any supernatural entity but i like the philosophical aspects of religions. I see that people of different religions demonize one another's religions more than atheists do.

ABAisSCIENCE Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - People love to hate Christians for things and offer lists of evil. I don't think all Christians can be blamed for that. I certainly don't think Jesus can be blamed for that. As an aside, the Bible says all atheists and Christians are wicked or sinners. Jesus can't be blamed for that either. You choose to be a sinner with each behavior you choose.

gregorio1234567az Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25th. The bible doesn't give a day for a reason. The gnostic catholics created this holiday. They merged the religion of Mithra and Christianity and created Christ MASS for political reasons. You will not find an example of Christmas in the bible. People are way to easily deceived. Jesus is the Lord. Every knee will bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
