Dec 1, 2008 - The railroad only has to provide cross bucks at a railroad crossing. If the city wants lighted crossing equipment, they must pay for it. Some crossings can cost up to $200,000 though. And, dont you think its unfair if a two lane road is four laned and the railroad has to pay for the crossings because the city wanted to widen the road?
