Oct 14, 2009 - @mrlnq6: My mom used to sing this song to me too. My daughter is now 7yo and I sang it to her when she was a baby. Well, that is until she was old enough to talk and she would say when I sang, "Mom, can we turn on the radio?" lol

Oct 16, 2009 - Many kudos to Sweet Baby James for a beautiful, anthemic song. Many kudos also to Arnold McCullough for an amazing, though too brief, backup performance.

Oct 16, 2009 - nickf300- that was not a " nod " of approval for Arnold to sing, that was a nod of enjoyment, or wow, " I never get tired of hearing him sing this part ", Arnold's been singing that part for years, and James loves it, and Arnold rarely does it the same way, but this performance is one his best. I love how the crowd erupts in the middle of it, then again during the last part, and then of course at the end, it's like they were just boiling over, they couldn't hold it, Fantastic!!

Oct 20, 2009 - Jasont- you got it brother... Saw JT and stood about 20 ft from Arnold McCuller as he "took over" Shower the People. Easily my best concert experience... so powerful! And you are right... the crowd just goes wild!!
DAToDATonian Says:
Oct 24, 2009 - McCuller's name like Lee Sklar's is almost synonymous with 'James Taylor Concert'. I think people who have followed JT all these years have wanted an outlet for their appreciation for those singers and musicians who have contributed to the success of Taylor's concerts over the years and this solo gives them that opportunity. Arnold deserves every bit of that wonderful ovation too. He should be in the Hall Of Fame of backup singers if anyone ever deserved to be.

Oct 25, 2009 - Yeah, that is what I meant mate, I just worded it rather badly! Yes it's fantastic! I did mean I really like the nod and you can tell that James is really enjoying :) Hope that's cleared it all up!
