Aug 26, 2009 - wtf is a 9-pool or 12-pool or 12-hatch?

Tergiga Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - When referring to builds, the number indicates how many workers you have when you build the structure. A 9-pool means that the zerg builds a spawning pool at 9 control (9 drones). A hatch is a hatchery. For instance, a 12-hatch means that the zerg is going for a fast expansion. Cholera also mentions the over-pool, which means that you build the pull when you're building an overlord. Another mentioned is the forge fast expand which is when the Protoss builds the forge before expanding for safety

Tergiga Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - In my last post: pull = pool. These different builds indicate more than just when you build the structure, they indicate the macrogame that the player is moving into. For instance, a 9-pool is a non-all in rush build (as opposed to the 6 pool or 5 pool). A 12-pool indicates a more econ based safe build. Macro means the type of overarching game plan you have. Econ is short for economy and an econ build is one that gives you more resources in the long term (for less attacking forces now).

ProtestSpp Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Definitely the king of all Zerg. Wow. Great game. I'd have to say that maybe Bisu should have tried to expand faster. I think that is what this game came down to. Because Bisu's drops didn't work, he couldn't capitalize on not going for the last expansion. Zerg had 4 bases which meant he had an advantage and Bisu couldn't do enough damage to negate it.
