I worked on the Obama campaign, still support him strongly, and if you had bothered to read my profile or view the other video's on this site, you would have realized I'm probably more "liberal" than you are (and proud of it). Just to show you I don't hold a grudge, Leonard Cohen would be proud of your rendition of "Hallelujah." Nice job. I like Brandi Carlile's version ("Live at KCRW"), too.

I guess I'm particularly disappointed with certain elements of my "liberal" (where I mostly reside) constituency, who can't see that at its core it's a clever (natch), light-hearted poke at Obama, which, I think, also skewers the right-wing's warped view of him. Oct 27, 2009 - I have no problem with the song's politics. i think it makes fun of some people's PERCEPTION of the president, actually. However, I think it was totally moronic to show the Motrin brand of ibuprofen for the menstrual cramps image when you should have actually used a menstrual pain reliever like Midol or Pamprin (instead of mixing up the two of them into the wrong product altogether).
