Oct 24, 2009 - Actually, it doesn't give special priveliges. It says that it's a hate crime to be violent against anyone because of their sexual orientation. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure heterosexual is a sexual orientation, so the law would apply equally to gay people beating someone up for being straight. It just seems like special privelige to you because straight people tend not to get beaten up for being straight.
