Mar 30, 2009 - take the P1D head off, you'll see the Center part (+) and around the edge is the Negative, either at the bottom or the top depending on how you look at it, you'll see 4 little metal dots o o (o) o First 2 pins (Not sure) 3rd pin = Negative 4th pin = OverDrive (or DirectDrive) All you do is bridge the 4th pin to the negative outer edge. Then you get 1.9amp (1st mode) 1.8amp (2nd mode) 900ma (3rd mode) 4th mode is 1.9amp mode flash SOS 5th mode is 1.9amp Strobe.

Jun 30, 2009 - This may seem dumb. But can you set the flashlight to what mode you want it to? Like say i want strobe can i get it to strobe mode and shut ti off so the next time i turn it on it will be strobe? Or do you have to sit there and click threw each mode every time? Also how do you shut it off? Do you have to click threw all the mods to get it off? Or just click and hold to shut off?
