Oct 11, 2009 - Jesus is so much more then just an afterlife though. If he created the world, and he has a plan for us, that effects us now. Right now. God doesn't call us to be bored, if you do the bare minimum, yeah, your right, it is boring, extremely. There is so many things God has called people to do that take a lot of effort but have a huge payoff, its a lot more then boring. Its challenging, but worth it. You have to experience the realtionship with God before it means anything. Otherwise its all empty.

Oct 12, 2009 - apparently MAN thinks he knows how god defines things. man decided what suicide is. the lord gets to decide he makes the descisions, suicide people go to heaven! They do ok! they just wanted to return home. God would not punish them for wanting that. Anyway technicaly Jesus committed suicide to save us. Suicide people go to heaven.

Oct 12, 2009 - i've though about it as well, many times actually... my life is messed up too. i haven't seen my dad in three years, my mom is out of work because she was in a huge car accident, my friend is in the hospital for the 20th time (i'm not exaggerating) my friends are getting into drugs and such, and at times, i feel like i can't handle it. i'm 17 and i don't really have a best friend anymore since she died 5 years ago from cancer. but i feel like i have to keep on living for a reason i dont know yet
benof2012 Says:
Oct 12, 2009 - that is true but even in the interpretation it never sais that these people were saved this is referring either to people that were never saved. think about it like this: God is a just God right? He wouldnt want to trick us out of salvation right? now if a man that lived rightiously his entire life sinned right before he died, in your opinion he would go to hell correct? well it would be unjust for a man to have sinned all his life and repented right before his death to be saved would it not?
PasswordGranted Says:
Oct 12, 2009 - You do bring a good point, however, I think God is more about the trying to work things out, as long as we honestly and earnestly are trying to change, then we are living like we have a law, because we are trying to reach it. If a man, in the last second, repents of his sin he is instantly washed and is accepted of the spirit in that second, making him unblemished, and thus deserving to be saved. "For the wages of sin is death." What we deserve is death, but Christ cleans us.

Oct 13, 2009 - so ok i am my own form of cristian and i am religous i just think like god has his plans for people like if he wants you to be a millionare then thats who u are and of god wants you to be a killer then thats who you are, i mean really there cant be clarity without unclarity. i might just be babiling on so sorry :)
benof2012 Says:
Oct 14, 2009 - I agree just look at the theif on the cross with Christ. Sadly at that point people just say a prayer hoping that it will magically get them out of hell. I also agree we should be living daily for God as a law. It should'nt just be a prayer once and return to how you were living. When we sin, we should ask for forgiveness in sincerety. So are you saying when we sin we become unsaved? Or is just just suicide? Because again, it wouldnt be just if a righteous man sinned before dying went to hell.
khellandroes Says:
Oct 15, 2009 - I have dealt with people who have been about to commit suicide...and the solutuion is so simple but so difficult, especially when most of my co workers are content with putting a bullet in them to stop anyone from getting hurt. Jesus is the only thing that can bring us back...the only thing that can put us through...there is nothing else to it
parkybob22 Says:
Oct 19, 2009 - Wrong dude. 1. God has a plan for us, for us to prosper and not to harm us. Jermemiah 29:11 2. God has a plan for life not death. For wages of sin is death, gift of God is life. Romans 6:23 3. Jesus taught that death and destruction is the work of "the thief" John 10:10 4. Jesus wants us to have life. John 10:10 5. Life belongs to God. It is never our place to take our own life or someone else's life. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Nov 4, 2009 - James 5:19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins. As it states, my brother, if one of you should wander from the truth, which means that they already had believed. In the next verse it says that whoever brought them back brought them back from death.

Nov 5, 2009 - this is so true. We never understand why we go through really hard things at the time, but in the end, we see, that it was for us. "The light entered into the drakness, and it did not understand it." I forget which verse that is, I'm pretty sure it's in John, I love it.

Oct 11, 2009 - Matthew 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' If you go back into the greek/hebrew, evildoers mean those without a law. literally " Away from me, you who lived as without my law." As in they didn't follow his law. Even though they believed.
