Nov 4, 2009 - Yes, this is being sung by Kurt Bestor, who composed the song. When he does this during his live concerts it's just him, a keyboard, a microphone and a vocoder. He sings into the mike and plays the harmonies on the keyboard and the vocoder changes his voice into the notes he is playing. I've seen Kurt perform this in a sold out concert hall and in a small chapel with none of the trappings of the concert stage and the power of the song affects the audience the same way.

Nov 7, 2009 - Oh, is it vocoder? I think some of the articulation from the reverb is throwing me off, makes it sound like multiple ending consonants, which would point ot multiple tracks. But if you know it's vocoder, i'll take your word for it.
