Sep 15, 2009 - had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Robbins when this song was his newest hit. I actually got to go backstage. I remember him kneeling down to talk to me..a 7 year old girl like it was yesterday and asking if I was a devil woman. The look on my Daddy's face when he dedicated the song to me later in the show was one I haven't forgotten in 47 years and my Daddy still talks about. Mr. Robbins was one of a kind....priceless.

Oct 8, 2009 - This is on a DVD that I have at home and it is created like a show or skit with Connie Francis and that gentleman standing next to her. They talk about how they are getting a show together and who they are getting in it. Marty is one of them along with so many others including Connie singing on it. It is a great piece of history when they were in their prime.

Oct 13, 2009 - Actually it was Connie Smith in the picture, along with Doodles Weaver - the picture was "Road to Nashville", filmed in May of 1966 for Crown International.

Oct 13, 2009 - Great video. I think the man just behind Marty on the right side is studio musician, Waylon Jennings.

Oct 30, 2009 - Marty was so unique ! Marty had the charisma much like Elvis and the smooth voice as JIm Reeves. Marty could really make you feel like you're right there in the story that he tells in his songs.. Marty was one of a kind...
