Dec 6, 2008 - @ dj neodar:get a good cdj like the pioneer 800 mk2 or cdj 400. On the display you can see a bit how the track is constructed and were break or bass starts. That's what I did and it made my life (as a DJ :p) sow much easier. greetz from Belgium :D

Dec 23, 2008 - It depends where you are playing and what time. If you are the warm up (House)DJ then you should be playing 123-125 BPM stuff and let the other DJ's play all of the floor-filler stuff.

May 16, 2009 - i dont plan my sets i just play what i think suits the atmosphere of a club. my eyes big crowds are harder to motivate. smaller crowds have momentum. i mix uk hardcore like you said your self you can play say 4 tunes of recognisable tunes to suit the taste and then you depending on the motion u can be more adventures with some darker uptempo stuff. i feed on the motion and the reaction and it gives you the indication

DarkAndMartyr Says:

May 22, 2009 - so are you sayin keep your options open so that u can guide your set in the direction they need to travel

Oct 14, 2009 - i build my sets and i never finish a set as planned, i always have to go in different directions but is good to plan your set first u dont wanne get lost in the middle of the gig :)

spitfireX9 Says:

Oct 19, 2009 - you will have one huge CD wallet but if you plan your songs and have many different options to take and the songs are in key and the right BPM all you have to do at the begining of your set is see what they want what majority of them are going off to its hard when your not a producer because if you produced your own music people are coming to listen to your tracks it becomes easier The average Joe DJ has to find out what people want

str8bugged Says:

Nov 8, 2009 - I play in a hip hop and RB club but there are some people who like house or reggae. My set is all over the place. Working on trying to make it smoother
