Nov 19, 2009 - I might be wrong here, but is there any mastication (chewing) when snake of this breed eat, or any snake for that matter?? They must have one hell of a digestion track to pull that off.

Nov 20, 2009 - Actually, there is a green tree snake that has to chew it's poison into the victim. And the Puffadder have many teeth in the middle of it's mouth, so it can hold down the dinner.
chriseybear Says:
Nov 20, 2009 - Snakes have plenty of teeth. Pythons like the one above have hundreds. They also arent Poisonous (they're Venemous but this one isnt) but you are right they dont chew :) Even if they could chew. The retic in the video above is that fat it probably would be too lazy to. haha

andrewhicks00 Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - Snakes do not chew. They do however have a very powerful digestive tract as you said. Snakes can digest just about anything you throw at them. This snake didn't show any sign of aggression. Maybe because of it's size it just moves too slow to take notice of signs of aggression easily.
