Apr 17, 2009 - Yes, you are 100% right. About 1999 the Simpsons went way downhill in terms of writing compared to episodes in the early to mid 90's. I don't even watching anything besides Seasons 1-10. But, I did like the movie; it actually reminded me of the earlier writing style from the 90's.

May 3, 2009 - I've always loved the simpsons and i laugh alot at every episode usually the 1st time i see it but i still laugh at re-runs. i loved the movie and i love the most recent ones as the simpsons did go abit downhill but i think that was during the production of the movie but then they reaileed there where atatched to a rope and the yoinked themselves back up the hilll.
