Nov 7, 2009 - This version flows like Jack and coke. Smoth and easy. Awsome remake. Even thou Lou did this song, it shows the tribute to its roots. Great vocals.

Nov 15, 2009 - @ambeeeaaar, my friend, I hear and feel your pain, but the bottom line is that the Timmons vibe through Margo's vocal in this song is so enormously close to the Reed vibe (with or without the obvious heroin connection, ask the Timmins brothers about heroin) that to differentiate on that level seems petty, at least to my sensibilities... Cheers! -FrankC32-

Nov 16, 2009 - Man, I'm an old shcool punk (to use a much over-used term). I have been around for the Stooges, original New York Dolls,The Ramones, The Velvet Underground...and I AM KIND OF A "PURIST". This version of the classic is beautiful. I love it. A tribute to the original classic. I heard it back in '94 when it was released and loved it then. Effin tits. Great vid. Thank you for posting it.

Nov 2, 2009 - The Velvets were into minimalism -- though not on this particular song. So this minimal/subliminal re-evocation, is entirely within its rights. Red-eyed Ockham, wielding his fabled razor, would still not slice this cover apart.
