It is about an Earth wide Climatic change that blocks out the suns heat thus causing massive famine, death, and collapse of Civilizaton. Instead of Zombies eating human flesh is it REAL human survivors who band into Canibalistic groups that eat isolated humans. The whole plot involves a Man and his son and their attempt to get to a warmer section of the country where there are apparently civilized survivors left.

Nov 9, 2009 - It's a shame so many have large misconceptions about the story this film is based on. While we all know the the zombie plague, and "World War Z" are unavoidable this story takes a approach that even the most cynical minds could find believable. It's important to note that the book focuses much more on the relationship, and journey of a father, and son. *spoilers* The casting of Charlize Theron does make me a bit concerned that liberties will be taken to grant her more face time.
