Kind of like a guitarist or drummer jams during his or her own solo in order to create something in real time that, although rehearsed multiple times, only really comes to life in front of a live audience. Nov 11, 2009 - was that to me? Yes I know of many great singers...definitely Etta I didn't know about the movie to tell you the truth and just recently watched it. Beyonce does have her own style...but I prefer the classic sultry subtle tones of Etta...and other singers of that period. Beyonce needs to tone down her runs, she over does it sometimes.
