I had a friend who just got out of the hospital re H1N1. Remember the populations that are most at risk are children and those with a compromised immune system. Suggesting that this flu is a "mild" one is incorrect - it is mild for some (not one of the above populations) but for the named populations at risk, it is literally deadly.

People in the media are human beings with families, children, parents , loved ones. They have a stake in this...If we keep calling them demanding exposure...they will find a way to get this to the public.

Nov 20, 2009 - The media's job is to report the facts? Upon what wriiten documentation do you base this claim on? And yes, I can honestly say the media's H1N1 reporting ISN'T causing a panic. All the hype is having the intended effect, which is to scare people into getting the vaccine, but the media isn't showing anyone panicking. And I personally don't know anyone panicking, do you? A sentence full of OMGs!! doesn't change that fact.

Certain segments of society are slated for protection (you an me), while others are slated to die.

Next thing, when the virus mutate it has some similarity with the old one (evolution) and therefor ppl who has been sick with something similar are better prepared. So do the ppl who been vaccinated with something similar. Why do this flu kill less ppl than the old seasonal? Because it targets a whole new group, nothing strange about that.

I hope you dont eat fish... for every fish you eat you get at least 10 time the doze of mercury.
