Nov 22, 2009 - See, i thaught the same thing too, its not just the situps that will give you abs, u need to burn off the fat. Go run outside for 30 mins a day + ur ab workout, change your eating habits and dont hope for a miracle to happen, it takes time man. Obviously, if you have no stomach fat, it wont take as much time, but if you do, you have to get ur heart pumping and stop eating those cookies and chips. You should go check out *scoobies workshop*, he told me how, hes great, im not kidding.

Nov 23, 2009 - Yup, u need to have a low body fat percentage(bfp) for ur abs to even show as well as good diet very important. I wouldnt recommend cardio every day of the week around 2-4 days ideally if u want the lean look and switch it up dont just run use elipticals, stair step, or kickboxing etc.. these exercises just as good as running but less impact on ur joints. Cardio is good to lower bfp and help circulatory system, but too much can actually deplete muscle. Around 2-4 days a week is ideal.

Nov 23, 2009 - (Continued) As well remember to incorporate resistance to ur ab workout routines. Meaning to try using weights as well. Remember ur abdominals (rectus abdominus) is a muscle just like the rest of ur muscles, to make them grow/develop u also need resistance. Keep up ur workouts dont stop, switch up ur exercises, do cardio, eat healthy.. and in time u will see results dont give up ;).
