Nov 17, 2009 - Fact: SSC Ultimate Aero lasts a full 12 minutes on the primary fuel tank at full throttle. Then there's the secondary tank. In normal driving conditions, the SSC has a fair mpg, but I can't remember what it is. 20-something, I believe.

Nov 17, 2009 - "Well that was predictable." Agreed, they should have done a Europe vs USA drag race with the Viper ACR, Corvette ZR1, Ford GT and some of the top European cars. Picking the Euro cars would be kinda hard though, there is so many to choose from; Gumpert Apollo, Koenigsegg CCXR, Ferrari Enzo, McLaren F1, Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4, Pagani Zonda, that hideous McLaren SLR, etc. One thing is for sure though, whatever cars they picked, it would be an awesome race!

Nov 19, 2009 - I don't think the Maserati belongs in that race. I'd put an Aston Martin in there before the Maserati. Don't get me wrong, it's fast and it's luxury but I wouldn't go so far as "exotic" And I do think the Audi R8 should have had the V-10 model.
