Nov 10, 2009 - To think that there were complaints of Racism on this movie for having this guy play Judas (as the only black person). I think those people werent able to see the bigger picture. He plays this scene wonderfully.

hkaos Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - how could they cry racism, judas is the lead role

Quickstyle7 Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - the version of 1973 was a powerful masterpiece with amazing singers. the 2000 version wasn't that bad...but it hadn't the same feeling and passion in it. it was too much..."produced" and there was less heart in it. when i first saw the original movie, i was truly touched by the music, the feeling and the way, they did this movie. the 2000 version was...well....ok. the singers of the new version don't even got close to the original actors...

Nov 18, 2009 - I remember going to see this when I was about 14. Loved the movie, but having listened to the original album untold times before that, Murray Head and Ian Gillan will always be the definitive voices of Judas and Jesus.
