You probably listened to english songs back than and liked them ,although you didnt get the lyrics. You dont have to understand the lyrics to like a song.

Sep 6, 2009 - I cant judge how famous those singers/bands are in the US or UK, but there are a lot of famous german singer/bands in germany. But I konw some examples .. - Scooter - Rammstein - (unfortunately) Tokio Hotel and there had been more famous bands from germany in the past.

Oct 18, 2009 - there are so much english songs by interprets who are not english... for example here in germany puiples learn english as their second language. we don't speak english here okay, but we unterstand most of the english songs ;) and well, I think there are more english songs that are great than german songs ;D and sorry for my bad english..i am not so good at it ;)
