Oct 20, 2009 - ya its very bitter :P actually the potency can be smelled/tasted by its bitterness... the more bitter, the better... the young plants have a low bitter smell/taste, and so try and get older plants, as they are more mature and more powerful to heal the skin. i use this every morning when i wake up and i put it on my face and legs. it dries on fast and leaves no residue, it absorbs fast into the pores and is incredibly healthy. it is also a good pore minimizer. it really is a miracle plant! :)
