Nov 1, 2009 - If you wanna try This stuff out And You are willing to take a lil risk 2 syllables EMU-LATION Its awesome just get your roms and isos (SCAN BEFORE DOWNLOD) And then buy modifyed original controllers that have usb port instead of system Hookups. TODAAA you have a sega, atari, snes, nes blah blah blah, But remember emulation cannot DEFINATELY cannot replace the real deal.

Clay3613 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - SEGA did make special cartridges called CD Back Up: Ram Cart that would save extra SEGA CD data. Very expensive though, but worthwhile for some of the FMV games

janX9 Says:

Nov 6, 2009 - Probably because the cartriges came in a case that was the same size. So they wanted to stick with the same cases when the CD came out. What really bugs me is why DVD'S (and now Bluray) come in such big cases, why didn't they just stick with regular CD cases when DVD's came out. It doesn't make any sense.

jordanthewizard Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - maybe because dvd and bluray cases are more durable than cd cases.

janX9 Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - They are definately more durable, but it would be nice it they could make the cases square, so they fit better in storage cases. I just don't like looking at my wall unit and seeing short and tall cases, it's just not that esthetically pleasing.

bluesBro18 Says:

Nov 7, 2009 - why not?"

PimpUigi Says:

Nov 8, 2009 - Robo Aleste and Android Assault are awesome games. This guy rocks. Also, if you have the Sega CD with a model 1, you can use the mixer, (that other hole in the back that he didn't talk about, connects to the head phone jack) and turn down certain SFX in Sega CD games with the model 1's volume slider. This can make the Sega CD music louder. Pretty cool.

Nov 11, 2009 - I bought the authentic japanese Mega CD version of Sonic CD released in 1993. will i be able to play it on an american made Sega CD console?. i ask because the soundtracks in the american and japanese versions of Sonic CD are completely different (japanese version having the original score) and i've been waiting to play Sonic CD with the japanese soundtrack. i was able to burn an exact copy of the japanese Mega CD version since it's a CD with Red Book audio so can it still play it on Sega CD?.

ShawnD1 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Sega CD was pretty damn cool at the time. I loved Lunar and Lunar 2. Popful Mail was my favorite game at the time. The biggest flaw of this system that I haven't seen a reviewer talk about is that the memory is in the console itself. You can't swap out memory cards like a playstation; you need to delete your old save stuff if you run out of space. Either that or buy a second Sega CD just for data.

Stinger2578 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Starting this video, I thought I was watching one posted by MN12BIRD :) I didn't realize his music came from the Sega CD.
