(Apparently he doesn't really "play".) OK, I understand he's not a blues virtuoso. But his older records show plenty of VERY musically expressive harmonica "usage" (first position! horrors!). E.g., check out "Another Side of Bob Dylan." It's about music after all. "Experts" (et al.) tend to forget that...in every field these days.

Nov 25, 2009 - @highway65 first, get a G harmonica. Then, punch yourself in the face about ten times, so there's no possible way you can play clean clear single notes. Next, watch my "folk" harmonica lesson video for some basic ideas. That should allow you to approximate what Dylan was doing on that tune. I'm sorry, but his harp playing at the end of that tune is painful for me. I know you may love it, so although I may sound condescending, my advice is true.
