Aug 12, 2009 - wow! i stopped the video at about 19.00 because my mind was going crazy about what she said, "I began to adopt their beliefs" and such, and i wrote down, "there is no ONE truth" and THEN she goes on and says that exact same thing, "there are no absolute truths." everything happens for a reason; i was meant to watch this, and now i'm going to go buy books by Mrs. Tan. she is fantastic:)

Well, Mrs Tan had a few preconceptions on what makes her life move when she visited that village. However, she had to let go of them in order to understand the villagers.
