God was referring to governments that are established in line with His commandments, teachings, and rules. If the government is not in line with the Kingdom of Heaven then you are not suppose to do as this wicked government would command. God is the one and only authority. (U.S. treatment of black slaves and native americans is not excused by this but please bear in mind that Jefferson's original draft of the Dec. of Independence would have set the precedent for outlawing slavery immediately). Anyway, the point is that the founding fathers gave us the most prosperous system in the history of mankind and it's taken over 200 years to ruin it. I think we should be minarchists.

America at its start was peaceful and properous until this past few decades when we have turned away from the word and laws of God. Many other governments have gone through the same cycles.
