Listen to Immortal for example, they are 100 percent black metal, then you compare these guys. They don't even have at least a spec of black metal in them except the image.

This is a genre that I feel is well defined, Behemoth and Hate has made me sure on that point. Dissection was a swedish band that claimed the genre as well (melodic "blackened" death metal), though they sounded nothing like any polish metalband.
