For the sake of an irrelevant short text causing a momentary loss of concentration on the road five persons died and the costs of the emergency services would have run into thousands. Of course if this had been real "Cassie" would also have had to face her best friends families at her trial for death by dangerous driving.

Nov 6, 2009 - Earlier this year I was in USA, and driving from Killeen to Dallas (I-35N) and witnessed a bad crash and barely escaped from becoming a crash victim myself. The 2 boys were driving a Japanese looking coupe with a spoiler and fled the crash site immediately (I guess bcoz drugs or alcohol were involved). Within a minute, while I was still on phone with 911 operator and parked on the shoulder, another car came and hit the first car. These were sober and decent boys but ended up as innocent victims
