Feb 12, 2009 - Hooray for storm, I wish more could be done for other animals. Why they couldn't do something like that for Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro is a shame.

Weber0427 Says:

Feb 12, 2009 - this is amazing, its about time we start doing things like this. My dog died earlier this year due to cancer. we had to put him down in the end because it targeted his spine and disrupted the connection between his hind legs and his brain, so he couldn't walk. He will never be forgotten

Weber0427 Says:

Feb 12, 2009 - most owners do love their dogs this much, the issue for most people though is money. not everyone has enough money to invent a paw for a crippled dog.

chihuahuabulldog Says:

Jul 17, 2009 - That is so great that you could do this for him. So many people don't even get 'growths' checked out. I wonder, when he stands still is that leg the same length as the other front leg? My dad had a hip replacement and the surgeon made sure his leg would be the same length, to prevent other problems with the spine and stuff. That might not be a problem with dogs. I hope Storm is doing well.

Jul 24, 2009 - wow what a happy day;) very emotional

NightRaven2 Says:

Jul 31, 2009 - great for the dog, but not really bionic, if it were, it would more accurately mimic the real paw, possibly with nerve control reinstated. this is just a simple prosthetic appendage.

deeptracy23 Says:

Aug 30, 2009 - that german shepherd looks shaggy and pointy.
